Welcome to Caremore, a digital health platform designed to connect patients with healthcare professionals and clinics. Caremore provides tools for appointment scheduling, a healthcare marketplace, and a personal health assistant. This website and platform (“Caremore”) are operated by Caremore Health, Lda., a company incorporated under the laws of Portugal, with its registered office at Rua São Sebastião da Pedreira 38 2D, 1050-209 Portugal, and corporate number 50000000. The Website and its content comply with the applicable legislation in force. Access to and use of the Website are subject to these Terms of Use.
Respect for privacy is a fundamental right and one of Caremore’s core values. We are fully committed to complying with European and national regulations on personal data protection, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and applicable local laws on data protection and medical confidentiality. We store personal data on secure, EU-based infrastructure operated by certified providers. If a user violates these Terms, access may be terminated immediately. “Patient” – a user seeking to book or manage healthcare services.
“Provider” – a healthcare professional or clinic offering services through Caremore.
“Services” – scheduling, marketplace, messaging, reminders, and related tools delivered by Caremore.
Caremore is not a healthcare provider and does not offer medical advice.
Patients may search, book, and manage appointments with verified professionals.
Providers may manage availability, appointments, and professional profiles.
Reminders and guidance are informational only and do not replace medical advice or emergency care.
Provide accurate, up-to-date information when using the Platform.
Avoid misuse (e.g., booking without intent to attend, fraud, or abuse).
Providers must maintain valid credentials and accurate practice information.
Keep login credentials confidential and do not share with third parties.
Providers must submit valid documentation of professional credentials.
Caremore performs reasonable verification but is not liable for inaccurate or outdated submissions.
Only verified Providers appear in the Marketplace.
Patients can book appointments directly via Caremore.
Each Provider defines their own cancellation and rescheduling policies.
If payments are enabled, they will be processed via certified third-party payment providers. Caremore does not store or process credit card details directly.
Caremore complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679 – GDPR) and all applicable Portuguese and EU legislation.

Health data: voluntarily provided by Patients when using Services.

8.1. Provider Messaging
Caremore includes a secure, integrated messaging feature that allows patients and healthcare providers to communicate directly within the platform — without compromising privacy or compliance.
Key Features:
Encrypted Conversations — all messages are protected via TLS encryption, ensuring confidentiality in line with GDPR and healthcare data standards.
Discreet Communications — messages are stored securely on EU-based infrastructure, accessible only by the sender and intended recipient.
Purpose-Bound Use — designed for appointment-related communications, follow-up questions, and care coordination — not for replacing clinical advice or emergency guidance.
Data Minimization — only essential metadata (e.g., timestamps, sender & recipient IDs) is retained for security and auditing; message content is encrypted and access-restricted.
Patient Control — patients can initiate or terminate messaging threads, ensuring they have autonomy over how and when they communicate.
Audit & Compliance — messaging logs adhere to GDPR retention guidelines and can be anonymized or securely deleted on request — with audit trails preserved as necessary.
How It Works
All designs, trademarks, and software elements belong to Caremore.
Users may not copy, distribute, or use materials without prior consent.
Caremore is not responsible for medical advice, diagnoses, or treatments provided by healthcare professionals.
Caremore is not liable for missed appointments, cancellations, provider availability, or patient no-shows.
The Platform is provided “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted access.
Users may close their accounts at any time.
Caremore may suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and applicable EU law.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
